I recently put a deposit on a new E320 Mercedes from Mercedes of Morristown in NJ. The car needed to be ordered and I was assured of delivery in November of 2004. After getting home and reviewing the order for which I put a $1,000 deposit down I noticed that the order did not indicate a delivery date.
After calling and requesting the change to the order I was told they could no longer deliver the car in November but only in February 2005.
I then told them to cancel the order. I received a letter cancelling the order. But after six calls to the salesman and a month in time, the accounting department and the sales manager I still have not received my deposit back.
