MBNA America - increased interest rate to 21% from 14.95% without notification - had no late payments and account was current

Complaints.com received the following on September 25, 2003:

RE: MBNA America - increased interest rate to 21% from 14.95% without notification - had no late payments and account was current MBNA America changed my interest rate from 14.95% to 21% without notifying me, i had no late payments

and my account was current, they did this in spite of me having a 48-96 month agreement which began in

february 2002 them for 14% which should have lasted for at least two more years,

i have never held a credit card or line of credit where a so called legitmate company has done this this is the first time ever in twenty years
