I WOULD WARN PEOPLE ABOUT MY EXPERIENCES THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AT CALUMET HARLEY IN INDIANA.
I HAVE A BRAND NEW SOFTTAIL SPRINGER, SERVICE SUCKS. THE OIL CHANGES HAVE MORE OIL ON THE BIKE THEN THERE IS IN THE BIKE, THEY TOLD ME THAT MOISTURE IN THE GAS GAUGE IS NORMAL, GAUGE DOESENT WORK.
RAN OUT OF GAS TWICE. TOOK IT TO THEM FOR REPAIR(TEN DAYS AGAIN), GOT THE BIKE BACK, GAUGE STILL DOESENT WORK. BACK IN THE SHOP WAITING FOR PARTS(ANOTHER TEN DAYS). FOUND OUT THE PART WAS IN THE BACK ROOM ALL THE TIME.
THE TIME BEFORE THAT, PICKED THE BIKE UP FROM REPAIR(AGAIN), GOT IT HOME, NOTICED THEY PIT THE WRONG SEAT ON THE BIKE, ( BOUGHT A BADLANDER SEAT FOR IT 250.00DOLLARS, THEY TRIED TO GIVE ME SOMEONE ELSES SEAT. A
S WE SPEAK, THE BIKE IS STILL SITTING IN THE SHOP FOR THE SAME GAS GAUGE PROBLEM, WAITING FOR PARTS. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS DEALER TO ANYONE THAT IS THINKING OF BUYING A HARLEY.
