Today I checked my online checking account and found a $69.99 charge for AOL Net Market. I didn't remember ordering anything so I called the number provided.
The representative said the charge was for my account renewal. I did not have an account with them, never used the AOL Net Market service, and told them I wanted an immediate refund. She said it would take 10 -15 days for a credit.
I told her that was unacceptable. I immediately notified my bank of this fraud. I'm not even sure if they are associated with AOL but I am going to find out.
