RE: Country Stove, Auburn, WA - doesn't keep house warm unless it's run 24 hours - replacement blower moter is expensive It would appear that Country Stoves of Auburn, Washington doesn't believe in giving the consumer freedom of choice when it comes to letting me choose where I can purchase parts for their inefficient gas stoves (looks like a wood stove but uses gas for it's fuel source).

you either purchase parts from their dealers or you're out of luck, and as everybody knows this is the most expensive source for parts, imagine having to go to a GM dealer everytime you needed parts for your broken down Chevy, Pontiac etc, not only that but Country Stoves uses Alcatel for making its blower motors to make sure that you cannot cross reference the motor with an American made one and then will not sell the motor alone, surprise, surprise YOU also have to buy the FAN! even though the fan is in perfectly good condition!

To think that I gave up my beloved woodstove for this stove that doesn't keep the house warm unless it's run 24 hours a day makes me sick, in their sales brochure they had a woman with a blanket over her laying on a couch with their Firestar wood stove in the back ground, obviously she needed the blanket to keep her warm as the stove wasn't up to the job.
