Below is a copy of the email I sent to Autobytel customer care. Hi, It is nice to see you send out customer satisfaction surveys, but if they don't fix any problems what is the point? I am truly aggravated by your pathetic performance and will make sure I direct everyone I know never to use Autobytel. In fact, you explicitly make the buyer look inferior by making sure "we are really serious" about buying a car. Well, I was really serious about buying a $36000 car in a week. You know what, I did. However, I bought it from a service and dealer that actually respected me as a buyer and a human being. They actually responded to my needs as a customer and answered questions I had. Your service was the only one out of 8 that I contacted that did not respond AT ALL. I didn't hear once from a dealer. Not, sorry we don't have your car in stock. Sorry, we don't participate in this program. Sorry, my dealership sucks. Nothing. I am truly pissed to be perfectly honest. I realize that not everything is in your control. However, it is in your control to actually screen these people and dealerships that you "recommend." I am so displeased that your satisfaction survey doesn't even begin to justify or quantify my feelings.
