AT&T, phone service in Severn, MD - storm knocked out phone service - didn't respond to repair situation as expected

A severe storm knocked out my phone on 29 Aug 2003. I am on oxygen and need a phone in case of emergencies. A call was made to AT&T about coming to repair the phone and I was told the first time they could come would be 15 Sept.

I explained my medical issue and was told there was nothing they could do. Not customer friendly as far as I am concerned. The sad thing is I just switched to them a month prior to this. I sure am sorry now that I know their response to problems.
