RE: Epox motherboard - trouble with motherboard installion and tech support
To whom it may concern, In June of 2003, I purchased a motherboard (ie computer mainboard) manufactured by EPOX. Details are as follows: model 8RGA+, serial # 030410000293 (on box) 33007900556 (on hardware). By purchasing this hardware, I intended to upgrade from a less sophisticated machine. The 8RGA+ has given me nothing but problems over the last four months. Naturally, I have done everything in my ability to alleviate this situation including contacting EPOX customer support via email and conducting adequate research of the available forums. The response from EPOX was not helpful, in fact I couldn't't even understand it. They emailed a list of solutions that only a licensed computer tech would understand. By this, I guess they are implying that I have to pay a tech to make the motherboard they manufactured work properly. Without going into too much detail, this model (according to EPOX specs) is supposed to be compatible with all the hardware I purchased to compliment it. Its my opinion that I should not be responsible for the additional money it will require to end this problem. The only foreseeable solution will require a licensed computer tech.
