Les Schwab, Missoula, MT - rotated tires and didn't put two tire bolts back on the car - started to lose control of the car while driving as result

Complaints.com received the following on September 13, 2003:

The les Schwab in Missoula, Montana rotated my tires and forgot to put on two of the bolts that hold on the tire.

Later as I was going down the freeway with my two small children - I started to lose control of the car and barely made it to safety. It cost me towing fees off the freeway and a 45 minute cab ride.

In addition to having to go back to my car and get someone to help me. Today, I went to Les Schwab to have them put back on the bolts, not only did I have to wait 3 hours with two small children, but when I told them what happen it appeared to me as if they didn't care.

I read your complaint and would have to agree they are terrible. I bought new tires from them. In less than five months I had three seperate flat tires. After several trips back I asked if they needed to be rotated and was told everything looks fine. Then, after yet another flat tire, I was told I need new front tires and the warranty was void because the tires were never rotated. They either sold me crap tires or they did not install them properly. Then after not fixing the problem they want me buy another set of new tires. Come on guys this is pathetic.
