RE: Motor Car Concepts II, Orlando, FL - noise coming from purchased car - upset with treatment

My name is Jaime and my boyfrined recently bought a car from Motor Car Concepts II in Orlando, FL. on E. Colonial drive. He got the car without any problems except for the fact that there was a noise the car was making that shouldn't have been there, the dealership said they were going to fix it becasue he bought the car. He has brought the car in once to be fixed and the noise is still there.

Now they are telling him there is nothing else they can do, they fixed what they thought was the problem and that if he wants it fixed the he needs to, on his own, find out what is wrong with the car, then bring it back to them to be fixed. Being a car dealership, their customers should not have to find out the problem on their own.

Not only has this been the problem with this company but also they have given us very much attitude ever since they got their money for the car. I came in the day I brought his car in to be fixed the first time and asked for the part number for the part they were replacing.

Instead of just giving me the number with no problems, I was questioned many times of why I needed the number, and I was made to feel like I didn't know anything about anything and that I shouldn't question their methods.

They ordered parts for the car without test driving it to find out the problem or looking at the car to find out the problem, they ordered the parts before the car was even brought in, this is why I got the part number so I could double check their work. Once I got the number from them the mechanic rolled is eyes at me and walked away like I was in the wrong.

And to top everything off me and my boyfriend called to get the owner of the company's number and we were hung up on, we were told we would never be able to get ahold of him so don't even try and were both drilled on what it was concerning (I guess so before they gave us the number they wanted to make sure it didn't pertain to them).

So eventually I ACCIDENTALLY got ahold of the Owner, Ken at the Kirkman store location, and he never once apologized for the attitude me and my boyfriend had both recieved, and when I told him there was more to my story he changed the subject to an earlier topic and blew me off.

He also told me that the car situation was not up to him and that it's "not his departmet, so call someone else." He said he would call me back once he made a couple of calls and I never heard back from him, someone else called back to ask me something, but the owner never called back.

So overall I feel that a business is run PRETTY HORRIBLY if the owner says he can't and won't do anything and if the owner can't even give one apology for anything. So I would be suprised if I was the only complaint this company has had. And I will probably take this complaint further if necessary. At least until I feel something has been done. Thank you very much.

well.. what are you expecting. You bought a USED vehicle. If you wanted a perfect car you should have bought a new one.

Grow up...take some responsibility and fix your car.
