I had a Discover Platinum Card from Discover Bank, a Morgan Stanley Company. I have cancelled for the Following reason:

In my experience, if you get your payment to them by the due date on the statement they do not post it for two or three days and charge a late fee.

I pay my bills through Quicken and they tell me when the payment arrives so I know Discover is fudging to collect an extra fee, in my opinion. I do not have this problem with any other creditor.

Discover told me to get my payment in 5-7 days before the due date, and I asked them why they didn't just change the due date to an earlier time...they gave me no answer. I think others need to know of this scam.
