GM - 1998 Malibu - fixed air conditioner, brakes, electrical, gaskets, wheel sensors, etc.
Posted on Thursday, September 5th, 2002 at 12:00am CDT by b1502ae8
Product: 1998 Malibu
Company: GM
Category: Cars, Motorcycles, Boats, Vehicles
I own a 1998 Malibu, original owner. My husband had it for 2 years as a company car, then we bought it for me and my son to drive. I advise ANYONE who is considering a GM product to reconsider. The car I own is a hole to throw money into.
Major money. Air conditioner, brakes, battery, brakes, electrical, brakes, gaskets, brakes, wheel sensors, belts, brakes, etc - big big money for a 5 year old car.
Not your normal wear and tear. Poor design and shoddy materials. I have saved every work order for this car, I have a paper trail of incompetence in 2 states from 2 different dealers. The company's attitude is "WE don't care, We're GM." I strongly URGE you to reconsider your purchase of a GM vehicle until they realize that they must address valid customer complaints concerning their products. DMaier
