RE: 1994 Chrysler concorde - severe rust within the warranty period - all rusted parts not replaced under warranty

I bought the my 1994 Chrysler concorde in Dec 1994 and it came with a 7 year/100,000 mile anti-corrosion warranty. I noticed severe rust in 2001 within the warranty period and took it to the Chrysler dealer in Rockville, Maryland.

The dealer referred the issue to the District Manager for approval for repairs and the DM approved only the hood for replacement eventhough the doors and the rear trunk were severly rusted. His denial for repairing the doors and the trunk was that the rust was not visible outside.

Now within few months of the warranty expiry the trunk cover is falling apart as the rust has now severly spread and visible clearly outside. The warranty coverage offered by Chrysler is a fraud, based on my personal experience and opinion with this situation, and, in my situation, they didn't honor their warranty commitments when it comes to replacement. thanks, Kal Ganesan
