I purchased an oreck vacuum (small, compact cannister type) I paid more for it than I have ever paid for a vacuum and I am completely dissatisfied. It doesn't pick up like it should, it won't pull through the room (falls over on it's side) the attachments won't stay on.
It is not properly balanced for sitting, pulling or storing. I absolutely HATE it. It was purchased for a motorhome RV and it wasn't required to do heavy work, just light cleaning - which it won't do satisfactorly.
