RE: AOL - service cut-off due to outdated credit card information - called to update information - spent over one hour on phone and coudn't get problem solved Have been a customer for over 5 years (OK so that was stupid), but our credit card AOL was billed on (NEXTCard) ceased to exist. Therefore, AOL cut our service.
I spent over one hour on phone attempting to give them a new credit card number. Then told their computers were updating (middle of day). No manager, supervisor available, no recourse.
She hung up on me after telling me to have a nice day. I will, but NOT with AOL Way too many alternatives.
