Complaints.com received the following consumer message on September 16, 2002:

I am a first time subscriber to Time Warner Cable and RoadRunner "service". I ordered the service online, and set up my billing information on their web site.
When I received my first bill, it indicated that the amount owed will be automatically deducted from my account using the information I provided when I ordered the "service". I then called their local customer service line (919-573-7000) to verify the billing information they have for automatic deduction. I asked the representative if I can view my account information online and she said that I could. I asked for the URL and she said it's www.twc-nc.com.
I logged on to the web site but there is NO link for account information or anything like that. I then filled out their "Customer Care" web for to ask about this and I have yet to receive a response! And their form and automated response is designed in such a way that their email address cannot be tracked -- no reply address is provided.
I guess so this is no one can bother them! It has been two weeks since I sent the first email. I sent a couple more, hoping to get a response and all I ever get is their stupid, automated response email. No one has done anything about it, and the corporate web site for AOL Time Warner has no feedback form link for customers. In other words, they DO NOT care about customer service at all.
Is there a way to boycott this cable "service" (if they know what that means) monopoly? I believe they act this way since they know no one else provides cable services in most of the U.S.!
