Maytag Neptune washing machine - purchased in 1997 - rust problems - computer board replaced twice - mildew problem due to standing water inside

I bought my Maytag Neptune in 1997. Shortly after using it,it developed rust problems where the detergent dispenser is. They came and replaced to top,only to develop rust again about 2 months later.

I have had TWO computer boards blow out on me, of course,after the warranty had expired. Now I'm having a problem with the mildew problem from the standing water inside.

As another complaintant wrote " this is the most expensive piece of junk I've ever owned.

I HAVE HAD 4 COMPUTER BOARDS PUT IN MY WASHING MACHINE WE HAVE THE NEPTUNE ALSO AND MILDEW IS ALL OVER ON THE INSIDE EVEN WITH CLEANING IT DOESN'T HELP I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS WASHING MAHINE TO ANYONE!!!! 4 COMPUTER BOARDS WITH THE LAST ONE BEING PUT IN IN JULY 2006 AND NOW AGAIN 0CTOBER 2007 SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT I'M GOING BACK TO CHEAPER MODELS I CAN AFFORD TO FIX THEM EVERY 10 YRS $200.00 PLUS SERVICE CALL FOR COMPUTER BOARD I COULD HAVE HAD A NICE WASHING MACHINE!!!
