Moving Services - Fogarty Van Lines, CT late arrival, unprofessional service

Complaints.com received the following e-message on September 25, 2001:

RE: Fogarty Van Lines I had the unhappy experience of having hired this company to move me from my 2 bedroom condo in CT down to Florida.

This company told me that I would be moved on one day, then showed up two days later! Not only that, but they showed up at 530pm that day (Saturday) and did not compete my move until 1130pm that night! To top it off, they claimed that they could not fit all of my belongings on the truck because the person before me took up too much space. They would have to come back the next business day to get the remainder.

Now - I had no beds, my two small children (age 5 & 2) had nowhere to sleep, and it is now midnight). They finally did come back, about 5 days later and just showed up - not telling my neighbor when they would arrive! Now the company claims I am lying and they did the move "professionally" - moving at midnight is professional? Come on! I also have witnesses and telephone records of the movers showing what time they arrived and left.
