On June 25th we went into a home improvement contract with Acme Increte Systems to pour a “Stone – Crete” retaining wall and decorative wall. The pictures looked great in the brochure – not so great in our yard. The contractor is Rick Ford in the Sacramento Area. The work was to be substantially completed by July 31, 2001. The wall that Acme poured is of very poor quality. The contactor even admitted to us that he does better work now (skeptical of this seeing that our wall looks so bad). But, he has not corrected his poor workmanship. Some of the problems with the wall include but are not limited to the following:
