RE: www.bannedfilms.com - received poor VHS copy of Disney film Song of the South - refund denied

On 9/30/03 I went on-line searching for the Song of the South - Disney movie from the 50's. I found a web-site: www.bannedfilms.com.

The person I dealt with was Patrick Fields (Email User) Needless to say, I placed the order, and expecting an original Walt Disney movie for the price I paid of $57.95, instead I received an extremely poor copy of the movie.

As dissatisfied as I was, I emailed Patrick and expressed my concerns and requested a refund. I said that I was going to send the tape back, and before I could get to the post office, I received an email from Patrick saying to never mind. He does not give refunds. I tried a second time, and the response I received was "You got my answer". No Dice.

If this is the kind of people we have to do business with, I don't think I want any part of it. If this letter of complaint helps at least one consumer, before spending his/her hard-earned monies, then it was worth the aggravation.
