Sterns & Foster Mattress - indentations in mattress - told warranty void due to one small stain on mattress

Complaints.com received the following on October 29, 2003:

RE: Sterns & Foster Mattress - indentations in mattress - told warranty void due to one small stain on mattress My husband and I also purchased a top of the line, king size Stern's & Foster mattress and just as Mr. Heinauer stated (see copy of his letter below, dated 9-7-01 ) [not posted here] - it is a nightmare, we have the same problem. We contacted the store where the purchase was made who sent someone out to look at it.

Because of one small stain we were advised all warranty's were voided. We have requested a copy of the warranty where it shows why/how a stain can void a warranty and cause this mattress to breakdown after such a short period of time.

We have never received this copy. For the cost of this mattress I would never recommend purchasing a Sterns & Foster mattress.
