RE: Shoprider Scooter - dissatisfied with scooter performance
3 years ago I call to inquire about a handicap scooter since I have heart and lung diease I'm 49 years old, after a year passed I recieved a phone call telling me that it went through I got one I was very pleased but at the time I wasn't up to ridding it so it sat for about 6 mos .
When I finally got to ride it I wasn't really impressed about the way it acted it was suppose to carry 500 pounds 25 miles at 5 mile per hour I was lucky to get 2 hours ridding tops this was on an even surface it will not pull itslef up a hill with a smaller rider you might ride 20 minutes before the battery starts going down when it starts a ingrade it will stop after a minute of incline .
I like to go out to big cars shows and flea markets and when I would try to go I would ride it and it would die out in the middle of a place . It would leave me walking to say I'm not up to walking more than 20 feet without losing my breath .
I have called shopridder emailed them and all I got was the runaround and delievery failure from emails no one there to complain to at least thats what they said to go back to Acute medical care where it was bought . but now all they want all they want to do is blame each other and I'm with out a scooter.
All I want is a replacement No I do not want repairs I do not want a piece of junk I want a reliable scooter
