RE: Arm and Hammer Heavy Duty Detergent for clothes - detergent caused allergic reaction
I purchased the above named detergent, washed clothes in it. My husband and I began to erupt in itchy welts. At first, we thought it was a bath gel which we had been using, but we stopped using it and the welts continued.
We figured out it was the A&H Detergent, aided by a confirmation from a friend in Texas whose daughter had a similar reaction to the detergent.
I wrote to Arm & Hammer, giving the UPC and lot number, but have received no reply. I would, at least, like to get my money back.
Since washing all of our clothes that had been laundered in the A&H, with another detergent, we have had no further problems.
