RE: Fleet Credit Card - deceptive offer of credit card balance offer - didn't get zero percent interest as expected

I signed up for one of those Balance Transfer deals with fleet and transferred $5,409.54 from my CHASE (which was already at zero intrest, but my zero balance interest was on limited time? account into Fleet, at Zero Percent.

I have only had zero percent interest cards were the principal amount transfered was at zero percent and any purchase made after the original transfer are paid with the current interest rate after the balance tranfer amount is paid in full. Fleet is totally misleading people and reversing the standard business practive and reversing the above to make the initail amount pay a monthly interest and any future charges at zero percetn intrest. This is a TOTAL SCAM in my opinion. How can a supposedly "reputable" company like Fleet allow this to happen to an innocent customer? Sincerely,

Chris Wienke

I got burned by Fleet in the same way six years ago and they bled me to death until I transfered the balance.
