Sub: Refund of Deposit for cancellation of Tata-Sumo

Booking Form no.:0342586 This is with reference to the cancellation of the order placed for a Tata Sumo with Shakti Automobiles, Calicut; Kerala authorized dealers of Telco India (Tata Motors), dated 02.02.96 under the dealer code 03300. I had approached the office at Kannur, Kerala directly and instructed to cancel this order and refund me my initial deposit of Rs.25000.

Following which, I also sent a registered letter in July 2000 for which I had no response. I further sent another reminder through Shakti Automobiles Calicut, Kerala. They said that they have sent 2 reminders so far to Telco, Mumbai regarding the refund and once again, have received no response till date.

I have been following this up for the past 3 years and I am thoroughly disappointed with the grade of customer service that a company like Telco is offering. If I do not receive any updates regarding this within the next 2 weeks to my Email-Id, I will have to approach the Consumer Court, India and the Indian Embassy at UAE regarding the same and take necessary action.
