Subject company, of Knoxville, Tennessee, cheated me out of a rebate that would have made the $100 DirecTV installation fee free as promised in their advertising. I carefully filled out and sent in the required application form for the rebate.

 

When it did not arrive in four months, I phoned them and was rudely informed that I had not followed the full procedure, which included also sending in a copy of the "contract" and the first month's invoice for DirecTV, neither of which I had been informed about in connection of the installation or in any way. Withholding payments are not an option since DirecTV rudely insists installer is a separate company. Would you kindly confirm to me in your standard way that you have received this complaint and what I might do to gain satisfaction? Thank you. Leonard Cronk
