THIS CAN'T BE LEGAL?! I logged onto Pirceline.com web page to check out my airline reservations. While in there I get this information regarding car rental information, which I wanted to inquiry. However, before I could enter my bid price I get this message thanking me for my order.
I did not make an order and never entered my bid. I feverishly tried to cancel the order before it completed, however, could not. There were no cancellation procedure, confirmation and/or acceptation provision or a stop-processing prompt. I immediately call Priceline to informing them of what happened and to cancel the car rental reservation in error (I did not make). However, Priceline told me no, the order could not be canceled. I also, called my credit card company, who told me the funds have already been taken out of my account.
Also, I did manage to cancel the reservation with the car rental, however, Priceline will not give back the money. They have my credit card on file, because I use them often.
