Admiral range model # 68-4587-87 - beeping and flashing F1 - digital keypad replaced for $ 193.93 - not same problem is happening again

Complaints.com received the following on October 9, 2003:

I purchased this stove in June of 1994, in july of 1997 I had to have the digital keypad replaced because it kept beeping and flashin F1. I paid $650 for the stove it cost me $193.93 to replace the pad.

And now it is flashing and beeping again, now the part is going to cost $250.00 to replace.

I want to know if there is a problen with this stove or if the parts are defective. I am not going to fix it this time. Please respond.
