RE: NCO - credit card account turned over to NCO - received a rude, threatening collection phone call
I am one of the many people who are not impressed with the way NCO does business. I have just read a complaint that was made against NCO a few months ago wich motivated me to post my own complaint against them. I too (like thousands of other people) have found my financial situation to be a lot more stressfull with a lot less income than what it used to be.
So when I discovered that a credit card account had been turned over to NCO for collection, I was surprised because I had no previous notification before a extremely rude, psuedo intimidating phone call. I have sent two hand written letters that have explained my situation and requested that I only be contacted in written correspondence and have sent e-mails to the same effect and all have been disregarded.
In turn, I have decided to disregard them. I will not return phone calls from their so called "attorney" because they don't scare me. Besides, no phone conversation with anyone from NCO or anywhere else is going to change my financial situation. My debt will be taken care of in time regardless of NCO's tacky, tacky efforts.
