RE: Certified Roofers, Valrico, FL - work is currently not to code, warranty is currently not being honored

I had a complete re roofing job done by Certified Roofers out of Valrico FL which included a 5 year labor warranty on top of the longer shingle warranty. 1 1/2 years later I had the home inspected by a state certified home inspector, who told us there were several problems with our roof!

The roofing did not meet state codes, and flashings were left off around our fire place wood structure which caused water to enter, run down, and rot the wood. We called Certified Roofers and faxed them a copy of the inspectors report.

The owner said “he would do right by us” and repair all the problems including the wood that had rotted because the flashings were left off. The crew never showed up on the agreed upon date. We never heard from them, and after another call we were told they didn’t make it because of a rain delay elsewhere.

We were promised they would come on another date, and they never came and we heard nothing. We called again, and were told they were getting a crew together and would be there the following day to do all the repairs. No show again! After this point we called and called and never had our messages responded to.

This is blatant misrepresentation of the facts. Please support the claim if you are going to publish such rubbish.

Complaints.com should insist on tangible facts or be held equally for slander and/or libel. Where and whom are we speaking of? Who here is the customer? what an anonymous complaint?

What a blatantly irresponsible outfit.
