Citibank, Banglore, India - received terrible treatment by Relationship Manager

Complaints.com received the following consumer message on October 7, 2002:

RE: Citibank, Banglore, India - received terrible treatment by Relationship Manager

I happened to go to CITI bank 102-104 Prestige Meridian 2 , 30 MG Road, Bangalore to deposit a check on October 7.2002 at about 3:30 PM.

First of all I want to let you know that I am not exaggerating a single word I say, while entering the bank the security guard asked me the purpose of my visit, since I was in a hurry I said I need to deposit the check & opened the door, my wife was accompanying me, suddenly a hand grabbed me on my shoulders and dragged me out & started shouting at me and even caught me in my collar and later I came to know that he was the "Relationship Manager" & his name is SUBHASHIS SEN. I HAVE NEVER BEEN MORE INSULTED OR EMBARRASSED IN MY WHOLE LIFE.

This is not what I expect out of CITI bank, I stared my career with CITI BANK & worked with companies like GE Caps & at present I am with AOL-Time Warner, all these companies boast of customer centricity…Is this how you freak out the customers.

I wanted to inform the center head about this atrocious attitude of his Manager, Before I could go in,MR Sen went upto him & did some explanation after which the center head said that he is too busy to meet me. You know what I felt like a piece of shit..& Trust me I am not used to taking shit like that.

I want this mail to reach Mr Adithya who is the regional head for bangalore.& the National head.

Its is very important for me to keep the Management in loop because this should not be repeated to any of your Customers.I don't blame the management for your managers action but once the Management knows about this incident & takes no action

Then the Management is going to be responsible,Your Manager might have passed from Harvard Business School,but I am sure what ever his qualifications are,I am sure you don't want anyone with such a terrible attitude.

I am waiting to see what you are going to do about it …if nothing is going to be done CITI BANK is going to be my "PET HATE" & also please check the website Complaints.com Thanks & Regards
