Weslo 207 Spa - has never worked - called Weslo 15 times without resolution - experienced poor customer service

Complaints.com received the following consumer message on October 3, 2002:

RE: Weslo 207 Spa - has never worked - called Weslo 15 times without resolution - experienced poor customer service I would like to complain about Weslo. I purchased a spa from a local company and the spa has never worked. I have called Weslo at least 15 times, with no resolution.

Their customer service does not exist. They mailed me a part that didn't fix the problem. Then told me a service technician from Service Assembly would contact me within 72 hours. That never happened, no one called me ever. Today, I spoke with a manager, she could not help me either. So I contacted my credit card company and they tried to intervene to no avail. So my credit card company refunded my purchase price for the spa. Weslo has NO customer service at all, and I will purchase my spy from a local company that has local service techs.

This is Michael, a representative of Icon Health & Fitness, the previous manufacturer of the spa mentioned in your review. I do apologize for your inconvenience and can explain what has happened. Icon previously manufactured a variety of products including fitness equipment, spas, and even trampolines. We have since turned our focus to fitness equipment and have discontinued the service and manufacturing of the spas. Our assets and information regarding the spa equipment has changed hands several times which have led to some confusion. Currently, the company fielding any incoming calls about the Spa equipment is Rain Dance Spa's. Their phone # is 18669962623. Hopefully this is helpful in some way.
