RE: Autozone - located in Missouri - motor broken 11 months into 12 month warranty - warranty not honored by Autozone
I have been unable to get Autozone to warranty an engine Ii purchased for a customer of mine. At 11 months into a 12 month warranty the motor spun a rod bearing.
We have 6 oil change reciepts for every 3,000 miles of driving. The motor developed an oil leak at the timing chain cover and Autozone has yet to pay the $300.00 for repairs they authorized. Autozone deems that 11 months into the warranty it must not be a factory defect??!!
WE have the maintenence records of a middle aged professional woman who has been out of her car for over 6 weeks but they could care less. What good is a warraanty if the company only tries to prove the customer wrong?? Am sending to Better Business Bureau and Missouri Consumer Protection agancy.
