Complaints.com received the following consumer message on October 27, 2002:
From: RE: Magic Chef microwave - made by Daewoo - at 6 months start button wouldn't work - no help given from factory authorized service center I bought a "Magic Chef" microwave made by Daewoo, with their warranty for a year. At 6 months the start button would not work. I took it to the nearest "factory authorized service center".
The technician said he had three other exact same appliances, with the exact same problem, for as long as four months, and Daewoo has refused to do anything up to that point. I got the original seller to give me credit for it by appealing to his sense of fairness, after all... He did sell me the warranty along with the appliance. Paul San Francisco
