Cottman Transmissions, Belcher Rd., Largo, FL - paid $ 1,700 for 1996 Ford Taurus transmission repair - 3 weeks later transmission sharted to jerk when shifting - told $ 35 per day storage charge after car was repaired if car not picked up same day

Cottman Transmissions Belcher Road Largo,Florida. Having transmission problems I had Cottman tow my car to their shop.Two day's later at a cost of $1,700.00 they called to say the car was ready. Approx. three

weeks later the car a 96 Ford Taurus started to jerk when shifting.

I brought the car back and one of their workman tested it. I was told to leave it , as I was going on vacation the end of the week I asked if I could leave it during that time the workman said no problem.

The day before my flight out I drove the car to the shop and was told their would be a $35.00 per day storage charge once the car was repaired. I did not leave the car .

Since I returned I have taken the car there twice to no avail I't sits there now for a total of eilght day's waiting for a "part" I have heard nothing but bad news about this Franchise dealer since I have been asking around.

A little late for that but I would like to help to make sure a lot of other people do not have the same experience.
