Osco Drug Store, US 2 231 S., Lafayette, IN - regular drug price increase for ADHD meds. in the Fall when school starts

Complaints.com received the following consumer message on October 17, 2002:

As per your email...the Osco Drug Store that increased their metadate CD price is located on US2 231 Sourth in Lafayette, Indiana

Thanks for your help, Charles Dobson PS - The Osco people have totally ignored my request for an explaination.

Osco Drugs, an drugstore chain, has, once again raised the prices of their drug metadate CD in conjunction with the starting of the school year. They have regularly raised prices each fall as school has started (the need for the medications are greater when school is session). In the summer the prices are routinely lowered. This is price gouging! ADHD students sincerely need this medication and I feel that Osco is making money off these kids' handicap. Osco has not answered my email.
