Honda City 1.3 DX - didn't come with a stereo system - now told that aftermarket installation of stereo system voids the warranty

Hi ! Recently I brought a Honda city 1.3 Dx. It does not come with a factory fitted stereo system. Now, I want to fit in it a standard legal SONY stereo system. The dealer tells me that I should not fit any other stereo apart from ALPINE in this car. If i fit it, the warranty is void, even if he fits it. He never told me this when i brought the car. Kindly suggest Manoj Patil
