Costco - high intensity reading lamps - unable to find replacement bulbs - 35 watt, 12 volts

Complaints.com received the following consumer message on October 11, 2002:

I purchased two high intensity reading lamps from Costco. When the bulbs burned out Ifound it impossible to replace them.

The lamps are stainless steel in appearance and the only manufacturor data says"made in China" I need to find a place to get 35 watt, 12 volt bulbs.
