RE: Night Pharmacy, O'Connell St., Ireland - rude treatment by counter assistant
Hello There!
On Sat. last I was walkiing back from Hemnry St. to the bus for Heuston, when I decided to purchase a bottle of perfume for a friend I was saying goodbye to.
I went into the last Pharmacy on the henry St. side of O'Connell St. (late Night Pharmacy I think )
As there were no perfume "this side of the counter I leaned over to ask the assistant for A certain perfume and as I did so leaned on the counter for which I was sharply reprimanded " would you please not lean on the "paper " (gold covering on a counter display ) i stepped back as requested but having to see another perfume i leaned in to view selection 9 not having very good sight ). = i was sharply reprimanded "would you mind stepping back and she'll hand it out to you ".
now I'm not an undesirable and i hope I've never been offensive but I can't tell you how upset i was / I'm still shaking when I think of the arrogant attitude of this assistant. I feel morally duty bound to report this incident to someone -
Please tell me if I'm out of line in doing so -
Pat Flanagan
