El Fito Auto Sales, Denton, TX - paid $ 700 towards car - want money back but can't get it

My husband went to an auto sale dealership. He wanted to buy one of their vehicles, but we didn't have to money. They told us we can could put it on hold till we got the full amount and then they would release the vehicle.

We had given $700.00, but a family emergency came and we can not continue with payment and need the money. We went to cancel and they told us they couldn't give us the money back.

My husband did not sign anything. All we got is receipts for it. Can we get our money back in anyway. The dealership's name is El Fito Auto Sales in Denton, Texas. Can you please help and what can I do to get my money back. Thank you. Sincerely Lilia M. Cardenas
