Date: Tuesday, October 30, 2001 01:45 PM publix stores just went up on their subs! first they did away with the free sub cards, then they made them [the subs] smaller. Now they went up .50 on their price! its cheaper to eat a meal in a resturant!!

This is about the imported meat thats being brought in from Canada, Mexico. There is no grade on this meat & I am not interested in imported meats at all.If this is going to be Publix new policy then I will go to a butcher where I know what I am getting. Also, I noticed that the beef that is in the showcases is not marked US choice beef. I don't notice any big difference in price so I can only assume that you are able to do away with employees that really need their jobs.
