Words cannot express the frustration and agony this one bridal store caused both myself and my family. Before entering the store please beware, it is beautiful on the outside but evil on the inside. As a respectable business women, who works in the fashion industry and understands how it is operated, I have never been treated so unprofessionaly and rude in my life! Bridal Couture of Manhasset specializes in taking your money without providing you any services.

After purchasing 2 Mother of the Bride dresses, and 1 Tiara the nightmare began. The owner, Jerry, took my mothers measurements who at the time was a size 14 and proceeded to order a dress withsize 22 measurements! We pleaded with them and said it was going to be too big, they said not to worry we can fix it,it's better we have more fabric to work with than not enough. When her dresses arrived months later she could put them on without even unzipping them, we knew it was going to be a problem when the seamstress said this alteration was going to be difficult.

Day's after I picked up my $500 tiara and placed it on my head, after they practically tossed it at me after taking my money, it broke!! I pleaded with the owner to take it back to the manufacturer, give me back my money, or give me something else. Her answer, "What's the problem it's a beautiful piece," beware she has a habit of saying that often, that is when she comes out of hiding after taking your money. They proceeded to glue back my comb with a glue gun, in which my 5 year old godson could have done a better job, after placing it on my head again, it broke -- again!

You would think after all the money we have given this women, close to $8000, she could be a little more accommodating. At my mothers final fitting she could not sit in her dress,Jill, the manager entered the fitting room and asked, "What's the problem now?", she saw my mother could not sit in the dress and said to her,"now let's try to sit like a lady" , my mouth dropped to the floor! Needless to say my mother had to buy a new dress the evening before my wedding, and I had to borrow my maid of honor's tiara. You do not deal with the same person twice, nor will you see the owner Jerry around if there a problem.

Also please make sure you read the fine print on their receipts before they entrap you with all of their rules and regulations! Both myself and my mother have never been treated with such unprofessional, misleading, un-accomidating, service in our lives. They misrepresent their vendors and should not be permitted to carry thelines they do. Thanks to Bridal Coutureof Manhasset they accomplished what they set out to do, and that is make the day before my wedding the most disturbing day of my life!!!! Lucy
