Kays Caps Complaint October 31, 2001 - Deborah Bockemehl, RN

We have just come across this complaint which was filed 4 1/2 years ago, and we remember it quite well. Ms. Bockemehl appears to have omitted everything that actually occurred--including her expecting an immediate response to e-mails that arrived in the evening (when we were not online) oftentimes minutes apart. We are quite certain we can come up with the information if we check our files. She, indeed, received a full page letter from the CEO--the only difference being it was not that evening. (Even CEO's are entitled to go home). She did receive an El Centro Cap--the only problem being that two different styles were being run concurrently many years ago. When Ilene explained that the cap to which we were referring was a "mortar board" type, she was indignant in her complaint because she believed we had given the cap the name mortar board--not knowing what a "mortar board" cap looked like. The cap she actually wanted was made by a different company from ours at that time, and it was a soft organdy one. Ms. Bockemehl also received a telephone call the next day, and we very much regret that none of these things are recorded in her complaint. We did try to reconcile matters but we were not successful because she was too angry. Thank heavens we have been blessed with a rather remarkable track record, and we do try to accommodate our customers, but it is rather difficult to please everyone--even though we try.
