Farbrware Millennium 12 cup coffee pot glass top broken

Dear farberware:

I purchased around 4 months ago a farberware millennium 12 cup coffee pot. The top glass piece is broken it cracked all along base.

Also I go to pick up the pot to pout a cup and the pot falls apart had to put washer and screw back in. This pot has been handles with care. no reason for this with a glass top like this it can get into your coffee. i would like a replacement part preferably plastic thank you.
