SPRINT PCS WON'T LET ME CANCEL

I obtained Sprint in mid-2000 before all this one year advantage agreement stuff... I started working for Staples towards the end of the year and obtained a special rate plan for Staples Employees.. Well I quit working for Staples in Dec. 2000 because it was a part time job... well needless to say as a lot of you know..s print service is far from clear.. it sucks and you get tons of dropped calls in my area... Well in January or so I called to cancel... I was transferred to cancellations and held forever as standard with sprint... they told me we can't cancel you because you're a vendor account.. need to contact your sales rep.. well I explained my situation that I didn't have a sales rep.. oh well.. we can't cancel... couldn't tell me who could either.. itw as try and get the sales rep.... well in the next month or two I call back.. same thing.. long hold time same response.. we can't cancel... but we'll send you a new phone to remedy your problems.. well seeing no other solution I take it.. still no contract or obligation to keep their service... still get sucky service.... call back.. same runaround... well I'm sick of it at this point.. so I quit paying my bill.. get sent to collections.. pay up or we'll cut you off... well my reply.. great.. that's what I've wanted all along thank you... I agree to pay my last bill to avoid any charges.. and low and behold.. oh sorry.. we can't cancel your account.. well I call back and get rude at this point since it is now october and I still have a phone I don't want... finally.. let me transfer you to employee accounts.. three calls later and over an hour of hold time.. I get a live person... oh sorry sir.. can't do it.. let me transfer you to vendor accounts.. get live person.. he tells me can't cancel have to call local sales office... explain that I've called everywhere they've asked, begged for months, pleaded, hated every minute of service or talking to their reps.... ask for a supervisor... get one..

 

he tells me he can cancel but that he's not going to do it.... tell him my story again.. tell him I'm filing a BBB complaint and if necessary hiring an attorney to cancel my service that I can "cancel at anytime"... he still wont' do it... well I've filed my BBB complaint and now I'm telling the world about my experience.. DON"T USE SPRINT PCS SERVICE
