Newsletters - wallstreetnewsalert.com unable to stop unwanted faxes
wallstreetnewsalert.com Magazines & Newsletters, Other From: Date: Friday, October 19, 2001 08:35 AM Sent To: Email User 10/19/01 8:35:33 AM This company, which I have never subscribed to, sends spam faxes at 6:00am. They contain requests to buy a certain stock (an illegal activity). I know they send them at 6:00am because I am awakened by the phone ringing. I don't invest in the stock market, nor am I a corporation. I'm just a guy with a fax machine continually being hassled by this company's unwelcome spam fax solicitation.
I have requested removal as per their 1-877-453-9369 many times, but they don't or won't remove me. Today I've tried calling the number for 3.5 hours and either the line is busy or I get a message saying all circuits are busy from the phone company. Obviously there are many, many people who feel the same way about this early morning intrusion.
Companies who abuse faxes, email and the USPS should not be allowed to conduct business in this country. I remember hearing about if you get three solicitations from a company after asking to be removed twice, you can sue them and are guaranteed a substancial settlement by law. I've paid enough, now it's their turn! From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Saturday, 20-Oct-01 08:35:00 CDT Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
