RE: McDonalds limits customers to 4 items or less at Drive thru

I went to a McDonalds on 70th Street and Mansfield Rd. around 5 pm on October 16 in Shreveport Louisiana. This resturant had been in the same location for more than 20 years, but had recently been rebuilt from the

ground up. On my first ( and probably last) visit there since re-opening, I learned of a new rule - YOU CAN'T ORDER MORE THAN 4 ITEMS.

I ordered 2 Happy Meals, and a chicken sandwich combo. Before I could finish my order, I was told they were out of Chicken. So I asked for a different combo meal, and told them I needed 2 Big Mac value meals. The Drive Thru employee told me for an order that large, I would have to come inside to order it. Puzzled, I asked "YOU MEAN I CAN'T ORDER 5 ITEMS AT THE DRIVE THRU? THATS TOO MANY?" . "Yes, thats right" was the reply. Then I replied to this strange new rule by driving down the street and spending 17 plus dollars at the Burger King drive thru, where they were more than happy to sell me 3 combo meals, and 2 childrens meals. I called the manager after arriving home, and was told it was a misunderstanding. Somehow the employee thought I wanted to be charged induvidually 5 different times. I have placed orderes larger than that at

various places, and no other employee has ever assumed I wouldnt pay with a single 20 dollar bill !
