RE: poor service at McDonald's
To whom it may concern;
10/11/01 21:35, I stopped at the drive-thru at McD's on Lacey-Sleater, Wa. I ordered a Hamburger Happy Meal with diet Coke. Got to the first window to pay; no one was there. Saw the car in front of me handed their order at the second window and the server came running back to the first windwo to take my $. After doing so, she ran to the second window to hand me my order; and then she ran back to the first window again to take the next order and $'s. I had 24 miles to drive home.
I always eat the fires FIRST because they are awful when COLD. By this time I was at least 1/3 of the way home, I was looking forward to the taste of the hamburger. I pulled out a BOX and thought that was strange; wondered when burgers were placed in boxes now. I opened the box to my disappointment to find McNuggets instead. Hoping in the mistake that possibly some dipping sauce was there as well. Not lucky enough.
10/12/01 17:25 I stopped at the Westside Olympia, Wa. store. Wanted to sit down with my meal before my 18:00 appointment just a 2 minute drive away. While I was in line; two ordering mistakes had been made with customers in from of me. It was 15 minutes before I got to the front of the second line. This server began filling orders for the drive-thru line; leaving me there without explanation or someone to take my order; which I was now going to have to have "TO GO". Another five minutes; no order taken. The other server was taking another lady's order, after the 3rd time of repeating herself, the server still didn't have it right. I left without getting anything to eat.
10/12/01 21:50, I stopped at the drive-thru at McD's on Plum St, Olympia Wa. Again, I ordered a Hamburger Happy Meal after the server took 5 minutes to open the mic to take my order. At the first window, the server said he had run out of money. At the second window, I got my order. Just a short distance from the window, I placed my hand into the bag and felt a BOX. I thought, "No, this con't be again.". Sure enough, there were McNuggets in the box instead of a burger. This time, I backed up my truck and caught the server's attention to have the mistake corrected.
I realize these people are YOUNG but they need to learn respect and courtsy and possibly HOW TO READ! Where's the pride?
There's a 4th store in Tumwater, Wa. I don't visit any more because after 3-4 trips there; they never got my order right and their attitudes were "so what" in nature.
I attempted to send an e-mail as posted in the window of the Plum St. Olympia Wa. store but it came up 'that address is in error and not a member'.
