RE: Tracfone - pre-paid wireless phone service - unable to get phone to show the correct number of paid-for minutes Tracfone: Their “deal” is a free phone and you pay for the minutes. No chance of a refund since they absolutely do not refund on minutes so if you can’t get their phone/service to work for you, your only recourse is too get another phone (and another phone, etc.) and continue to call until they get your service resolved.

In my case I went through 2 phones and over 4 hours on the phone various times with various customer service reps/managers trying to get a working phone showing the correct paid for minutes. Gave up trying.

I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND TRACFONE.
