Tech24.com is supposedly a computer repair service that can be done over the web. The agents there walk thru the issue with you and then actually take control of your computer via a web connection.

There is a 48 hour time limit but the agents can contact you later. After chatting with three different agents, none of whom could correct a sound problem with my computer, the agent I was with at the time stated he would look into the issue with his superiors and get back to me.

I have heard nothing despite contacting that agent personally as well as customer service.
